María Antonia Agudo

Deputy Director-General of Institutional Relations and Legal Support at SEPE, the State Public Employment Service.

Holds a degree in Law from the Autonomous University of Madrid and an international diploma in public administration from ENA (École Nationale d’Administration, Paris, France).

She is a member of the Spanish state body of senior civil administrators and of the Madrid region body of senior experts.

Since March 2018 she has been Deputy Director-General of Institutional Relations and Legal Support at the state public employment service.

From 2012 to 2017 she was Councillor for Employment and Social Security and from 2011 to 2012 Councillor for Health and Consumer Affairs, both positions at the Spanish permanent representation to the European Union.

From 2008 to 2011 she worked in the support unit of the General Directorate for Services and in the Office of the Under-Secretary at the Ministry of Work and Social Security.

From 2000 to 2008 she was Director General of Assets at the treasury department and from 1997 to 2000 was Director General of the Madrid institute for training and head of the training agency of the employment department, both these in the Madrid region.

From 1994 to 1996 she was Deputy Director-General of vocational training management at INEM, the national employment institute.
