Luis Prieto

Head of OBECAN, Canary Islands Employment Observatory.

Luis Prieto holds a degree in Political Science and Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid.

He helped to construct the Data Warehouse for employment data in the Canary Islands for research into the labour market.

He worked to develop the CanariasEmplea brand, adapted to the new organisational model of FUNCATRA, the Canarian foundation for employment development, according to open government principles and taking the organisation onto social networks.
