Alfonso Gurpegui

He has pursued a busy professional and management career linked to employment, inclusion and social services over the last 35 years. He is currently deputy minister of employment and inclusion in the Basque government's department of work and employment, previously having been director of employment and inclusion. He has also held the post of deputy minister of social affairs and director of social services in the Basque government's department of employment and social affairs. He was councillor responsible for public space, ecology and festive activities at San Sebastián city council, head of transversal projects and programmes and head of the department of employment and social innovation in the Bidasoa development agency. Professional director of the area of citizen relations and social services at Irún town council, professional director of the department of employment and training in the Bidasoa development agency and professional director of the training workshop at Irún and Eibar town councils.
