Basque Coast

Beaches

Located in Barrika, the 600 metres-long beach of the same name is a wild area of rocks and sand surrounded by spectacular cliffs.

It is 25km from Bilbao. Made of stones and sand, some stairs facilitate the access to this beautiful sandy area which is open to the sea. Due to its features, it is very frequented by surfers and nudists. Barrika is a hidden beach that disappears at high tide, so precautions need to be taken. Its sand and rock seabed produces medium-quality waves. Its long, rippable left is its main point of interest. Careful on the shore, though!

The surroundings are green and especially beautiful.
